What you will do in this role…

  • Develop and Communicate Architecture: Establish and prioritize architecture strategies to support business goals, including creating and communicating target and solution architectures.
  • Manage Projects and Teams: Oversee multiple complex projects and manage a team of architects, handling hiring, performance management, and professional development.
  • Ensure Alignment: Align architectural solutions with business objectives and remove barriers to expedite the transition from design to prototype.
  • Architectural Runway: Assess and align architectural activities with engineering and IT objectives, ensuring compatibility with the SAFe framework.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, present updates on progress and issues, and ensure governance and standard maturity.
  • Evaluate Technologies: Stay updated on trends and technologies, assessing their potential impact on the business.
  • Document and Quality Assurance: Direct the maintenance and quality of project documentation and architecture artifacts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discussions with diverse audiences, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the architecture program.

 

 

To help you succeed, you need…

  • Proven experience in establishing strategic technology and platform directions, including transition and target architectures.
  • Expertise in modern integration patterns, cloud adoption, and leading design sessions with business and IT teams.
  • Strong experience in application design and architecture, cloud native technologies, and secure design and coding practices.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to apply abstract architectural concepts at an enterprise level.
  • Familiarity with formal architecture frameworks (e.g., FEAF, TOGAF, Zachman); certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex architectural concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence colleagues across all levels, uncover business issues, and identify needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple large, complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; basic Portuguese is an advantage
