Job Role Responsibilities
- Work with the functions to identify the key pain points and priorities, understanding constraints including cost, quality, effectiveness and other factors.
- Directly manage and execute or provide support for projects and initiatives as prioritized by the function at a local (North America) or global levels.
- Ensure new processes are developed or existing ones updated to reflect changes associated with project implementation.
- Develop and execute effective Management of Change plans for projects in their portfolio including process changes or updates, communications plans, project documentation and incorporation of project impacts in P&B and other plans as appropriate.
- Seek opportunities to improve existing processes across all functions; partner with other areas to identify improvement opportunities and develop project and/or initiative proposals.
- Co-ordinate compliance activities (such as internal audits, reviews, government audits, etc.)
- Drive a process mindset to ensure proper strategic alignment, prioritization, standardization and impact of projects and initiatives.
- Help identify dependencies between processes, initiatives, and areas to ensure that all areas of improvement are addressed.
- Provide coordination among teams as needed to ensure a holistic view and “solving for the whole and E2E Thinking”.
- Coordinate deep dives as needed on issue or risk areas that are identified putting in place a structure identification and resolution framework.
- Lead virtual workshop sessions on a multicultural environment.
- Work with teams in delivering project objectives.
- Provide formal and informal training as needed.
- Learning new skills and techniques, and how to apply within existing and/or new parts of the Lubricants organization.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences
- Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration Degree.
- Project Management experience is a must.
- Process and Change management experience desired.
- Business and functional acumen.
- Strategic thinking (Ops strategy, strategic planning, etc.).
- Proficient oral and written English communications skills.
- Process Improvement concepts and tools.
- Experience in AGILE methodology.
- Excellent collaboration and presentation skills.
- Experience in working on a multicultural / virtual environment.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
